This workshop is designed for trainers, instructional designers, eLearning developers, and training managers. Through shared information, real-world examples, and hands-on activities, workshop participants will build expertise and walk away with a proven, systematic approach for developing Motion Graphic animated videos for use in their own learning solutions.

During the workshop, participants will explore various aspects involved in creating an effective motion graphic video. Topics will include:

• Developing an idea
• Creating a prototype
• Writing a script
• Building a storyboard
• Programming the video

By the end of this workshop you will know how to create your own videos.

No need to bring any type of technology devices with you.

Meet your Presenters:

Lori Pitts is the Director of Instructional Media at Pacific Life Insurance Company. She has more than 25 years of experience as a learning designer, content developer, consultant, innovator, and leader. At Pacific Life, Lori took on the challenge of eLearning start-up, successfully launching the Life Insurance Division’s first online learning team in 2007. Since then, Lori and her team have continued to innovate, creating and implementing a wide variety of learning solutions supporting business initiatives and employee development. 

Brit Kohls is a Motion Graphics Designer at Pacific Life Insurance Company. He started his career illustrating children workbooks and coloring books after studying Drawing, Graphic Design, and Computer Animation in school, He has been a media designer using the Adobe products; building learning games, animations, videos, and interactions for the past 15 years.

Carrie DeLaMontanya is a Senior Media Development Analyst at Pacific Life insurance Company. Carrie’s experience in instructional and graphic design contributes a “soup-to-nuts” perspective to her team. Carrie always considers the end user experience in her learning projects.

Georgina Rodriguez is a Media Development Analyst with Pacific Life Insurance Company. Georgina’s experience includes facilitator, instructional designer, graphic design, SME, content developer, voiceover artist, and LMS administrator. Georgina is adept at incorporating a variety of activities to support all learning styles into her training.
