About our Presenter:
Kim Hayashi founded Leadership Inspirations in 2006, on a mission to create an army of fabulous facilitators with the ability to design leadership development programs and adapt to anything in order to serve a group’s true needs. Since then, they have customized programs and served over 13,000 people in education, business, philanthropy, healthcare, and startups. Her proudest achievement and biggest passion still lie in training and coaching facilitators and witnessing how many have grown to use their experience to positively impact other organizations and people!
For ten years, she was an award-winning faculty member at Chapman University, where she taught leadership theory, team development, diversity and inclusion, and facilitation. She graduated from USC with a degree in Business Administration with the Order of Troy commendation, and has a Master’s Degree from Chapman in Organizational Leadership, a certificate in Human Resources, and has worked with type expert Linda Berens to be certified in Essential Motivators, Interaction Styles, and Cognitive Dynamics.
Kim serves as the CEO of Leadership Inspirations. Her current focus is on building thisgameisreallyfun.com, an online resource for anyone looking to build a fabulously FUNctional team and pursuing the research and development of multiple leadership assessment and application tools. With a colleague, she is investigating the frequency in which we make decisions focused on results, process or relationships in order to increase self-awareness and effectiveness while working with others; and developing a model to help people practically apply complex leadership theories to their work and personal lives.
Most importantly, she loves spending time with her family, friends and dog Copper, playing basketball, board games, and attending sporting events (Dodgers, Clippers, Trojans!).
